About the Position:
This position is in our Accounts Processing area.
SCHEDULE: 40 Hours (Varied – may include Saturday or Sunday)
HOURLY WAGE: $13.10
Job duties include: speaking with customers about various matters, setting up appointments, providing updates into the Customer Service System and managing many of the correspondence/documents and offline initiatives.
During your shift, you will be on the telephone talking with National Grid customers, updating their accounts and working with various documents and data entry tools such as but not limited to Customer Service Systems (CSS/CRIS), Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Access and other Web-based input tools.
Must be comfortable with phone work, data entry and always demonstrate a helpful and pleasant attitude with our customers/co-workers.
Must be willing to work shifts, which may include weekends and most holidays.
Applicants will be required to take a Call Center Simulation test and be successful before being considered for interviews.
There is required training the first weeks of your employment.
Must have at minimum a High School Diploma or GED.
– This is a full-time position of 40 hours per week.
– Preference will be given those candidates with prior customer service experience.
